Birth Moms
A Washington birth mom called me the other day. She said, “I have no idea how to be a birth mom! Do I buy the baby presents, do I call, write, text?!? She was so worried that she didn’t know what to do as a birth mom.
Her sentence struck me hard “I’ve never been a birth mom before, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do”. ?
Momma breathe ?❤️? there’s no right or wrong way here. The only way is what is right for YOU!!!
Breathe momma. You can take it one day at a time. You don’t have to figure all of this out in a night and you are not alone! We are here for you ?
Yes, there is definitely NO right way to be a birth mom. You can only do the way that truly works for you.

Lack of confidence can shake you. Not knowing the etiquette for adoptive parents can cause you to hesitate or question yourself. Caring about the future of your birth child can cause you to distrust.
